Sorry for the limited photos. My welding skills are marginal, at best, and these will need
to be retreated by a professional. Because of this, I did not photograph my aweful beads.
I had several choices for my axle and suspension and chose a rather beefy set up. I will be taking this off-road from time to time and
do not want any suprises. I believe the axle is rated at a minimum of 1,500 pounds which should be ample for this small trailer. The nice part about using the leaf springs
is that I get more clearance on the trailer than I have on my Jeep - this make me very happy! I had originally thought I might need to attach some diamond plate along the
rear edge of the trailer. After looking at my clearance, I no longer have to worry about making this skid plate.
