Wild Haddock, a North Atlantic species related to cod, has long been one of the most popular fish in northern Europe because of its clean, white flesh and mild flavor. Our Haddock is caught in the pristine, cold waters off the coast of Iceland.

Haddock cooks well in most all fish recipes and resembles cod while containing twice the level of omega-3s. Try it lightly seasoned and seared in a pan if you've never had it before - a mild, delicate, and delicious fish!

Shipping for Frozen Items

Shipping is free on orders over $100. We will ship your package via UPS/FedEx Ground*, unless your location is west coast in which case we will automatically ship Express for a 2 to 3 day Transit. Your package will take 1 to 3 days to arrive to you once it is shipped. We do not ship across weekends because shipping time extends past the effectiveness of dry ice.

Orders placed on Monday will ship same day if placed before 8:00 AM ET.
Orders placed on Tuesday thru Wednesday will ship same day if placed before 12pm ET.
Orders placed after 12pm ET Tuesday will be shipped the following day.
Orders placed on Wednesday after 12pm thru Sunday will ship Monday, with the following exception:
Orders placed on Wednesday thru Thursday before 12pm within (NC, SC & VA only) will ship same day, since delivery takes one day.

We are unable to ship to PO boxes or FPO or APO addresses. Currently we are able to ship only to continental US addresses.

* FedEx and UPS Ground are our standard, cost-effective shipping. If you prefer to expedite your shipment please select one of our expedited shipping options during checkout.

Requested Delivery Dates

You may request or schedule a delivery date in the future and we will do our best to accommodate the requested date. However, please note that certain dates may be impossible to accommodate depending on your area, day of the week, weather, and carrier delivery schedule. E.g: Orders requested for Monday delivery could be delivered the Friday before or on a later day of the requested week.

Shipping Tinned Fish

To prevent damage during transit, tinned items will always ship separately from frozen items. Tinned items will ship with FedEx Ground economy and may take up to 7 business days for delivery.

Storage

Seafood ordered from Sizzlefish should be kept frozen until ready for preparation. Items can be stored frozen for up to 12 months, but are best if consumed within 6 months of purchase.

Thawing Instructions:

The best way to thaw our seafood is to remove the product from the original packaging, place it in a plastic bag, and allow it to thaw in the refrigerator for about 6 hours. If you require faster thawing, we recommend placing the product into a non-vacuum sealed bag and placing it in cool water for around thirty minutes to an hour.

"This mild flavored and firm textured fish can be prepared many different ways but I usually go with the traditional buttered breadcrumbs on top, and baked in the oven. The filets don't shrink like some white fish filets do. You can also cut into pieces, flour each piece with spices and do a quick pan saute. Haddock is very versatile."

Our Alaskan catch includes halibut, sablefish, coho salmon, sockeye salmon, and king salmon, all sourced from local fishermen known for their sustainable practices. Our Atlantic Cod and Haddock are caught in the pristine waters of Iceland. Farm-Raised Products: We do offer some farm-raised options, including catfish, rainbow trout, and Atlantic salmon, which are responsibly raised to meet our high-quality standards.
