Super Shellfish Combination

Our wild-caught, product of USA, Gulf shrimp, and Atlantic sea scallops make a uniquely delicious combination:  All-natural, large shrimp and scallops that are evenly graded in size, conveniently packed in serving sizes and ready to cook in your best seafood recipe!  

Our scallops are harvested from the North Atlantic from Virginia to the Canadian Grand Banks and are shucked and packed in their pure, natural state. Enjoy the rich flavor of scallops by searing them or simply preparing them so that their natural juices caramelize on the surface. Our shrimp are caught off the US Gulf Coast and peeled, de-veined and frozen without added chemicals.  Both shrimp and sea scallops provide a surprisingly high amount of omega-3s, as well as supplying protein and important minerals.

Shipping for Frozen Items

Shipping is free on orders over $100. We will ship your package via UPS/FedEx Ground*, unless your location is west coast in which case we will automatically ship Express for a 2 to 3 day Transit. Your package will take 1 to 3 days to arrive to you once it is shipped. We do not ship across weekends because shipping time extends past the effectiveness of dry ice. 
  • Orders placed on Monday will ship same day if placed before 8:00 AM ET.
  • Orders placed on Tuesday thru Wednesday will ship same day if placed before 12pm ET.
  • Orders placed after 12pm ET Tuesday will be shipped the following day.
  • Orders placed on Wednesday after 12pm thru Sunday will ship Monday, with the following exception:
  • Orders placed on Wednesday thru Thursday before 12pm within (NC, SC & VA only) will ship same day, since delivery takes one day.
We are unable to ship to PO boxes or FPO or APO addresses. Currently we are able to ship only to continental US addresses.
    * FedEx and UPS Ground are our standard, cost-effective shipping. If you prefer to expedite your shipment please select one of our expedited shipping options during checkout.

    Requested Delivery Dates

    You may request or schedule a delivery date in the future and we will do our best to accommodate the requested date. However, please note that certain dates may be impossible to accommodate depending on your area, day of the week, weather, and carrier delivery schedule. E.g: Orders requested for Monday delivery could be delivered the Friday before or on a later day of the requested week. 

    Shipping Tinned Fish

    To prevent damage during transit, tinned items will always ship separately from frozen items. Tinned items will ship with FedEx Ground economy and may take up to 7 business days for delivery.

    Storage

    Seafood ordered from Sizzlefish should be kept frozen until ready for preparation. Items can be stored frozen for up to 12 months, but are best if consumed within 6 months of purchase.

    Thawing Instructions:

    The best way to thaw our seafood is to remove the product from the original packaging, place it in a plastic bag, and allow it to thaw in the refrigerator for about 6 hours. If you require faster thawing, we recommend placing the product into a non-vacuum sealed bag and placing it in cool water for around thirty minutes to an hour.

    No preservatives!!

    "Always delicious!! Never fishy tasting. I especially like that all of these products do not contain added preservatives. My husband is on kidney dialysis and he is supposed to eat more seafood, but he can't have seafood with preservatives. These shrimp and scallops are "dry" which means they are not preserved. Apparently they are sourced from quality fishermen as to not have to cover up the bad stuff. I love the portion sizes, so if Jim wants shrimp and I want scallops we can each have what we want."

    Is any of the seafood cooked. I don’t cook and just want to heat up
    Thank you for reaching out. All of our seafood is flash frozen shortly after it is caught to preserve its freshness and quality. However, it is not pre-cooked, so it will need to be cooked before eating. If you're looking for something quick and easy to prepare, we recommend baking or pan-searing the fish, as these methods are straightforward and don’t require much cooking expertise. If you prefer not to cook, you can also try steaming or grilling for an easy and delicious option. If you need any specific cooking instructions or suggestions, feel free to let me know!
