Growing Up on the Water

Some people find their calling. I grew up in mine, at the entrance of the Chesapeake Bay where it opens to the Atlantic. I spent my childhood on a fish dock - watching boats unload fish, crabs, and oysters, and riding along on market deliveries by the time I was five. I learned to work nets and crab pots as a teenager, and along the way learned something more valuable: the dramatic difference between seafood that's handled with care and seafood that isn't.

The Seafood Industry

That education became a career. The wholesale seafood company I built spent 30 years supplying premium and natural grocery companies across the country, building relationships with the fishermen, mariculturists, and processors who produce seafood of genuine quality. In
2014, we turned our experience and knowledge toward a different customer: You.

Your order is packed here, at our headquarters, rather than at a third-party distribution center.
