Whole30 Halibut Shawarma
This Greek spin on shawarma uses halibut in place of chicken. A high protein meal that’s bursting with Mediterranean flavor and Whole30 compliant.

Ingredients
- 2 halibut filets, thawed
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. coriander
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. paprika
- ½ tsp. turmeric
- ¼ tsp. cayenne
- salt and pepper to taste
- Sliced red onions, grape tomatoes, shredded lettuce, lemons
How to Make It
- To a large plastic bag, add the cumin, coriander, garlic powder, paprika, turmeric and cayenne. Add the salt, pepper, oil, lemon juice and halibut.
- Marinade 1 hour or overnight.
- Heat a skillet to medium heat.
- Place the halibut fillets in the skillet with the juice from the bag.
- Cook 5-8 minutes flipping once until opaque and fragrant.
- Serve immediately with sliced red onions, grape tomatoes, shredded lettuce, lemons.
