A group of delicious coldwater species bursting with EPA and DHA omega-3 fatty acids! Included are two species of salmon, each with a distinct flavor and texture, and loaded with omega-3s.  In addition, our sablefish (black cod) is a rich, mild and velvety whitefish that contains similar heart-healthy Omega-3 levels to wild-caught salmon!

Shipping for Frozen Items

Shipping is free on orders over $100. We will ship your package via UPS/FedEx Ground*, unless your location is west coast in which case we will automatically ship Express for a 2 to 3 day Transit. Your package will take 1 to 3 days to arrive to you once it is shipped. We do not ship across weekends because shipping time extends past the effectiveness of dry ice. 
  • Orders placed on Monday will ship same day if placed before 8:00 AM ET.
  • Orders placed on Tuesday thru Wednesday will ship same day if placed before 12pm ET.
  • Orders placed after 12pm ET Tuesday will be shipped the following day.
  • Orders placed on Wednesday after 12pm thru Sunday will ship Monday, with the following exception:
  • Orders placed on Wednesday thru Thursday before 12pm within (NC, SC & VA only) will ship same day, since delivery takes one day.
We are unable to ship to PO boxes or FPO or APO addresses. Currently we are able to ship only to continental US addresses.
    * FedEx and UPS Ground are our standard, cost-effective shipping. If you prefer to expedite your shipment please select one of our expedited shipping options during checkout.

    Requested Delivery Dates

    You may request or schedule a delivery date in the future and we will do our best to accommodate the requested date. However, please note that certain dates may be impossible to accommodate depending on your area, day of the week, weather, and carrier delivery schedule. E.g: Orders requested for Monday delivery could be delivered the Friday before or on a later day of the requested week. 

    Shipping Tinned Fish

    To prevent damage during transit, tinned items will always ship separately from frozen items. Tinned items will ship with FedEx Ground economy and may take up to 7 business days for delivery.

    Storage

    Seafood ordered from Sizzlefish should be kept frozen until ready for preparation. Items can be stored frozen for up to 12 months, but are best if consumed within 6 months of purchase.

    Thawing Instructions:

    The best way to thaw our seafood is to remove the product from the original packaging, place it in a plastic bag, and allow it to thaw in the refrigerator for about 6 hours. If you require faster thawing, we recommend placing the product into a non-vacuum sealed bag and placing it in cool water for around thirty minutes to an hour.

    Is all of your fish caught wild or is some farmed?
    Wild-Caught Products: A majority of our seafood is caught in the USA, sourced from the best fishermen across the country. In the Northeast, we have beautiful scallops, lobster, and rockfish. In the Southeast, you'll find red grouper, snapper, and Gulf shrimp that are truly exceptional. Alaskan Catch: Our halibut, sablefish, coho salmon, sockeye salmon, and king salmon are all sourced from local fishermen in Alaska, renowned for their pristine waters and sustainable practices. Icelandic Catch: Our Atlantic Cod and Haddock are caught in the pristine waters of Iceland, known for its rich and cold North Atlantic currents, which produce some of the finest whitefish. Farm-Raised Products: For those who prefer farm-raised options, we offer catfish, rainbow trout, and Atlantic salmon. These fish are responsibly raised to meet our high-quality standards. Specialty Products: Our Atlantic Cod, Haddock, and Ahi Tuna are wild-caught in their respective locations. Colossal shrimp is caught in Mexico. Mahi-Mahi is sourced from Ecuador.
