If you’re craving a healthy meal that is full of protein and antioxidants, this mango salmon is the recipe for you! Mango salsa is the perfect topping for salmon giving it juicy tropical flavor with hints of smoky heat.
Benefits Of Using An Air Fryer For This Recipe!
Air frying is quicker than baking and uses less oil than pan frying. Most air fryers can cook 4 portions of salmon at once for a recipe that’s ready in under 25 minutes from start to finish. This versatile recipe can also be baked in the oven at 400ºF for 12-15 minutes if you don’t have an air fryer. Salmon is coated with simple yet flavorful spices like chili powder, cumin and garlic before being cooked in the air fryer. Air frying creates a crispy top with the help of the seasonings while leaving the center tender and flaky.
Learn About Our Salmon!
Here at Sizzlefish, our wild Alaska king salmon contains the highest levels of omega-3 fatty acids compared to other Alaskan species. Omega-3 fatty acids protect the heart, brain and blood vessels by reducing inflammation. Sizzlefish salmon arrive frozen and individually sealed in 4- or 6-ounce portions for easy thawing. Place salmon in the refrigerator overnight to thaw completely before cooking.
All About The Salsa!
The fruity salsa is made of ripe mango, tomatoes, red onion, jalapeño and cilantro. To marry these complex flavors together we added a touch of smoky cumin, lime juice for tartness, honey for a bit of sweetness and balance, and of course salt to bring out their flavors.
