Cherry Prosciutto Sablefish

Sablefish is such a unique, delicate fish with a sweet, mild flavor. This is one of my favorites because it can take on so many different flavor profiles. Try out something different tonight with this wonderful, antioxidant rich cherry recipe. Paired with creamy goat cheese, and salty prosciutto, the balsamic gives it the perfect brightness to each bite. Sablefish from Sizzlefish is perfectly portioned, easy to thaw, and cook up. Wonderful option for gluten free and paleo diets.

  • 2 portions Sablefish
  • 10 cherries, pitted
  • 1 ounce goat cheese
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 thin slices of prosciutto

Preparation Instructions:

  1. Combine cherries, goat cheese, and balsamic in a blender or processor and mix until no large pieces remain.
  2. Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees. Top each portion of fish with 1 slice of prosciutto and place directly on grill rack. Bake for 15 minutes. Pour topping over fish and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
