Lobster Ravioli
If you're looking to create an elegant, restaurant-quality meal at home without spending hours in the kitchen, this Lobster Ravioli recipe is the perfect solution. Rich, creamy, and full of savory seafood flavor, this dish combines frozen ravioli with high-quality Maine Lobster Meat for a gourmet experience that’s surprisingly simple to prepare.
At the heart of the recipe is the lobster. Sizzlefish premium Maine Lobster Meat is sweet, tender, and sustainably sourced, offering the perfect complement to the creamy tomato Parmesan sauce. It’s pre-cooked and ready to use, which makes this dish not only delicious but incredibly convenient as well.
To start, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil for the ravioli. While waiting for the water to heat, begin building the sauce. Melt unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium-low heat, then sauté finely chopped shallots until they’re soft and fragrant. Garlic is added next, infusing the butter with even more flavor. Chicken stock and tomato paste are stirred in, creating a savory base that balances the richness of the cream.
Once the mixture comes to a simmer, heavy cream and Parmesan cheese are added, along with a touch of smoked paprika. This combination results in a silky, tomato-infused cream sauce with a hint of smokiness. The lobster meat is gently folded into the sauce and warmed through, ensuring it stays tender and juicy.
Meanwhile, the ravioli—whether cheese-filled or seafood-stuffed—are cooked in boiling water just until they float, which typically takes 4 to 5 minutes. The cooked ravioli is then transferred to the sauce and gently stirred to coat each piece in the rich, lobster-filled mixture.
For the finishing touch, the dish is served hot and garnished with fresh chopped basil. The herb adds a pop of color and a burst of freshness that brightens the creamy sauce.
Serving Suggestions
This dish is luxurious enough to stand on its own but pairing it with the right sides can elevate it further.
A crisp green salad with a lemon vinaigrette balances the richness of the sauce.
Roasted asparagus or sautéed green beans add color and texture.
A loaf of warm, crusty bread is also a great addition—perfect for soaking up every bit of the decadent sauce.
For beverages, a glass of chilled white wine such as a buttery Chardonnay or a citrusy Pinot Grigio complements the dish beautifully.
Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner, entertaining guests, or just treating yourself to something special, this Lobster Ravioli delivers restaurant-quality flavor with minimal effort. It’s proof that gourmet meals don’t need to be complicated—and that the best ingredients, like Sizzlefish’s lobster, can make all the difference.
