2 Sizzlefish Mahi Mahi Fillets, thawed
1 Lemon
¾ tsp. Salt
¾ tsp. Black Pepper
2 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 Garlic Clove, minced
2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter
Fresh Herbs, such as tarragon and parsley
½ tsp. Red Pepper Flakes
Directions
Pat dry the mahi mahi fillets.
Season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Heat the oil in a large cast iron skillet over medium high heat, about 2-3 minutes. Add the mahi mahi to sear untouched for 4 minutes. Flip the fillets to cook an additional 2-4 minutes.
In the last minute, add the butter, garlic, herbs, and red pepper flakes. Baste the fillets in the melted butter for 1 minute.
Remove from heat to add the juice of lemon and enjoy warm!
